Benjamin Bouniol Awesome chinese Folk Black Metal full of acoustic parts. Favorite track: 远山.

CARPAGE Honest, passionate music from China, constantly shifting from one melody too another, sounds of nature in the background, constant surprises along the way. Track three is the standout of this deep and intricate LP. Favorite track: 远山.

Doomlobbyn This beautiful mix of Chinese folk music and blackened doom is a must for anyone who wants an insight into the huge and sprawling Chinese scene. Favorite track: 远山.

brantly The atmospheric aspects of this LP are really outstanding. Not to say the melancholic mid-paced black metal isn't arresting, but, the moodier / slower parts really shine, creating an elegiac and somber listen. Bonus points for unpretentiously incorporating a flute...very slight minus points for the clean guitar on the bonus song reminding me of Dire Straits for a split-second Favorite track: 夜之蔓延.

Guillerms Fantastic atmosphere, they take black metal and make it their own.

about

Another promising atmospheric Black Metal outfit dwelled in Shandong of northern China, revealing the dual nature of tranquillity and epic-ness represented through the use of traditional Chinese musical elements. The EP is a finely composed poetry dedicated to the pine forest and streams; the worship to the grand mountains and cloud sea. For great fans of mighty Zuriaake!
