Maison Planàterre Le Zahir a agit.

about

ENTHEOS were founded in Quebec, Canada back in 2014 Playing progressive black metal, the band quickly grew into a noticeable force in the Quebec underground. The new album was produced by Neptune and Annatar (Gris, Sombres Forêts) and presents an extremely complicated musical structure throughout the tracks. With no sweet melodies involved,
ENTHEOS carved their own niche of black metal to construct a bizarre and twisted dimension.

The album title is based on a short story of the same title written by Jorge Luis Borges and published in 1949 in the book "The Aleph and Other Stories". In the story, the "Zahir" is a person or an object that has the power to create an obsession in everyone who sees it, thus making the affected person perceive less and less of reality and more and more of the Zahir, at first only while asleep, then at all times. Here, the Zahir is a metaphor of the making of a musical composition.
