Three absolutely massive, epic tracks that blend elements of black metal, melodeath, and traditional Chinese folk music. Think Dimmu Borgir meets Panopticon meets Chthonic meets Strapping Young Lad.
The metal tracks are punctuated by quiet, atmospheric pieces mostly executed with folk instruments. There's a little more of this kind of thing than I usually like in a metal album, but they're extremely well-done and they set the tone for the harsher music perfectly. Justin

Holy hell! What a ridiculously intense and brutal album. I get the need to keep referring to this album as a "black metal" album, but it is quite a bit more than that label lets on. Do yourself a favor & buy this album. These guys are quickly becoming my new favorite band. triggerbunny
