In my interpretation you can feel the passion and in some cases the dispair poured into this, as a result of living in a culturally/ historically rich, yet individually suppressed country. A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. If it was not for Blayne Smiths review of their latest album on Overkill reviews I might have missed this band. In short the music is like epic Black metal, brutal at times with great melody and total atmosphere to immerse you in. Amazing stuff. Stefan B
