Raflum, a Dark Folk project form China, has finished its first EP. This release includes 7 tracks Raflum made during the year 2009 to 2010. Being inspired by the revering to the woods, Raflum fills its works with dark emotions from the bottom of heart. In this Ep, you can hear the influence from Empyrium,Vail and Ulver.

This is one of the first albums I heard after discovering this Bandcamp goldmine about 6 years ago. I have listened to it many times in YouTube. I think it was about time to show my respects to the author.

We recently had a death of a well liked tenant in the rooming house that I run in Gastown, Vancouver. While waiting for the coroner to arrive, I played Woodfall for the police, who were in attendance and my other tenants. The officers inquired about the music, and we had a good conversation about the band Musk Ox, and where they were from, and where they could find their music, on Bandcamp. It was a beautiful choice of music for the send-off of an old friend.
