The Japanese one-man DSBM project KANASHIMI's sophomore album "INORI" is now released. Following the 2010 EP "In The Tears", the new album remains the same genre by adopting more Japanese-style popular sounding tunes. Melodic and touching, yet tortured with pain. This is some unique composition delivered by the one and only KANASHIMI.
I perceive a depth that I have never found in any artist, an album that moves me particularly. So modern and revolutionary both in the musical and social sphere for the sensitivity required to the listener. AutumnalMood
NONE came into my life right when i needed them and gave me exactly what i needed. Incredibly powerful and awe inspiring, with a palpable wall of emotion that showers over you and through you with every listen. Amazing work of art. Someone put their whole entire soul into this album and it shines through in a brilliant display over the course of every track. With this album in your headphones you can get through anything life throws at you. 10/10 Jeremiah Friel
This album is a bit darker than their newest. Misery-laden vocals that sometimes sound like sobbing. There may be a language-barrier, but the distress is palpable. The dreamy melodies and softness remind me of Les Discrets. ambientgaze
