I really enjoy albums whose cover art depicts what you will hear once you press play. But in this case, I also really enjoy the disparity between cover art and the music. The cover, for me, conveys the impressions of slow, cold, atmospheric music - but this record is ultra busy almost 100% of the time. Guitars, escalating basically from start to finish. Drums, always thunderous and intense. Not what I expected at all, but very satisfying and full of profoundly invigorating songwriting skills. David Fischer
Oh, this takes me back, a really pleasant surprise it was! I remember when that homonymous bootleg was circulating around the web which led many to believe it was authentic, but now the real thing is finally out and it's just beautiful!
It's a masterpiece as furious and unrelenting as soothing and melancholic, just the way good Blackgaze is meant to be! ThaRKiuS
Attracted by the Cover art but was totally destroyed by the music. This is one of those albums that just has it all for me. There is something special inside that I can't put my finger on but it is there. Only way this gets better is if it ever makes it's way on wax. If it ever does I will be first in line. Frederick Jones
