Fine modern Black Metal from Russia, which keeps a certain Russian charm despite predominantly English lyrics and comes along wonderfully varied. The vocals as well as the instrumentation and the interspersed partly folkloric ideas are diverse and always surprising. But the band never strays too far from the path, so that friends of the offside listening pleasure as well as conventional listeners can have a good time at the same time. Insider tip!

Un nombre incalculable de groupes, d'albums, de chansons et pourtant Damián fait toujours en sorte que chaque sortie soit un don du ciel. Somewhere Along Our Memory concentre ce qu'il sait faire de mieux : du black metal/blackgaze beau à en pleurer (il faut du temps pour se relever après "When the first snow fell...") mais il prouve aussi qu'il est un joueur de piano hors pair par l'émotion qu'il suscite sur "Kiss in October" et "Her" qui me faisaient souhaiter que le temps s'arrête. Stupéfiant.

This is a trip, plain and simple. You choose which type (LSD, or what not) but it is TRIPPY !!! Saxophone ? wow at first I was like WTH, but then, and then again, I really come to like this. One of those albums I needed to listen to many time, as it grows. It was not love at first hearing, for sure.

Foreverglade is obviously heavily inspired by dISEMBOWLMENT's masterpiece Transcendence Into the Peripheral. But Worm do plenty enough on their own to differentiate themselves from them Olde School homies. This stuff is Murky, Gross and very good. It's got a good clean sound to it, all the nasty riffs and inhuman vocals are very audible. Damn good stuff fo sho.
