kalam An absolute masterpiece, completely overlooked and underrated unfortnately. Favorite track: Ancient Ones.

Dave Aftandilian I feel the living spirit of the forest all around me, blazing in the sap of every tree, pounding in the earth beneath my feet. I feel it inside of me, simultaneously raging and at peace. With each step I take into the darkened woods I travel deeper inside myself. When I reach the end of this journey it shall begin again.

Kevin H Sadhaka's "Terma" incorporates far more elements into it's four tracks of Cascadian BM than many of their contemporaries. The pacing for example, meanders between a slow, melancholic doom-laden feel juxtaposed with a faster more familiar CBM style. In many cases, without any sense of disjointment. Wish I'd discovered this last year, so it could make my end of year list- it's that good.

This band is perfect for those who feel that Cascadian BM can be stale and limited in it's influences. Favorite track: Dissolution.
