An interesting fusion of black metal and jazz, with inspiration from various other forms of metal. There is a lot to like here, and many pleasant surprises. However, it does not always seem to form a cohesive whole. spawnofchaos

The year I found love for the first time in a long time, Unreqvited releases this beauty. This record captures all the conflicting emotions of pain, confusion, joy, gratitude which are connected with leaving the past and devoting your soul to someone pure.
At first listen, I wasn't sure how I felt about it because of the previous more darker tones I fell in love with, but the stunning artwork made me try once more and thats how I fell in love for the second time this year! <3 childofbodom97

Literally no weak moments, Afsky burns from beginning to end across these 7 songs. An unbelievable debut album which led to their towering follow up "Ofte jeg drømmer mig," "Sorg" is their initial emotionally immersive leap into the black. bcb723
