We are thrilled to bring to you the first batch from our upcoming Lost Nocturne series. While known for his splendid work in the Italian neoclassical band Ashram, Luigi Rubino's solo project, especially his debut full length A Theme For The Moon, is also well acclaimed amongst the fans of the neoclassical movement. His evocative pieces always resemble those faraway journeys into the backflow of time, with shades of autumnal childhood joy and tears --- journeys that one never set foot in, but felt an distant and intimate calling the moment Luigi Rubino's music fiddles your heartstrings. A Theme For The Moon -The Definite Edition- will press only 200 digipak cds on November 25th, with two unreleased tracks written and recorded around the debut, as well as brand-new cover designs.

For those of use whose attention span isn't what it was for ambient and who need something more narrative than noise, there is the sub-genre of atmospheric black metal that I'm inclined to call "monolithic". Paysage d'Hiver might be the archetypal example. But if you just want to be consumed by a relentless wall of beautiful air pressure, this is ideal.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter.

I’ve owned the Imperfect disc for a bit now, but had slept on the rest of the material, with the exception of Disquiet, until now. Much different than my normal dissonant, occult sound fare, but everything Unrequited creates is bursting at the seams with power and emotion. Respect and support.

Swiss Industrial Black Metal. Another creation by the multitallented artist Bornyhake. This man clearly does not sleep! Sung in french & done so well that you can almost understand every word! It is very fierce & intense - to consume in moderation or you may end up looking like the cover ;) Highly recommended!!!
