Music of cosmic fantasy and enchanting melodicism, like witnessing the frigid northern storm slashed through the mesmerizing aurora, while a crystal portal clandestinely opened and tossed its radiant light onto the ocean shores, Praecognitvm's poetic approach to atmospheric black metal is thence an ode to Nature's deepest unknown. Already won his recognition among the underground scene with Dead Moon Temple's 2018 opus Ænigmasólvoid, Chilean musician M. expanded his exploration of Oneiric dreams in Praecognitvm. With their 2016's demo Inalienable Catharsis and 2018's ep Oris Resolutio Somnum, Praecognitvm has matured their own formula of crushing melodies and polar atmosphere, the magnificent and glaring riffs are not overshadowed by the sometimes psychedelic elements of post black metal, instead intertwining like streams of nebula nourishing the reverie of Cosmo Grandiose.

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended.
